This is a hard thing to deal with - looking for help - because no one really wants to ask for help. But there is always help out there if you just look hard enough and don't give up.
There are churches and service organizations, government agencies, and for profit agencies all waiting to help people who meet their criteria. If one says no - go on to the next one.
